Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The article has not been previously published or otherwise disseminated and has not been simultaneously submitted for publication in another journal/publishing house.
  • The article does not infringe the copyrights of other people.
  • All the co-authors who have contributed significantly to the preparation of the work are listed, their affiliations and ORCID identifiers (if any) are given.
  • The article disclosed all sources of funding for research and analytical work, medical experiments were preceded by the consent of the bioethical commission (the name of the commission and the number of the opinion were given).
  • The text was formatted in accordance with the editorial guidelines, including the introduced sections, the citation style (Vancouver Style), and the rules for developing a bibliography.
  • The illustrative materials are placed in separate graphic files, with a resolution of at least 300 dpi.
  • The text is accompanied by a structured abstract (up to 250 words) and keywords (not less than 3).
  • The author / Co-authors have prepared the Statement and have read the license agreement.

Author Guidelines

Publications in the journal Science, Technology and Innovation include articles presenting the results of original research, perspective papers, application notes, reviews, communication articles and works presenting negative research, which subject matters are consistent with the mission and objectives.

Authors guarantee that articles submitted for publication are original and have not been simultaneously submitted for publication in another journal, collective work, and so on.

Publication charges

This journal has no publication charges. 

Before starting submission

  1. Familiarise yourself with:
  1. Prepare the authorship statement. If an article has been written by co-authors, the statement should be developed and signed by all co-authors and then scanned and loaded onto the system (see: forms).

Preparation of the manuscript

The preferred language of publications is English. Works can also be submitted in Polish. If a manuscript is submitted in Polish, it is required to include the title, abstract and keyword in English in the manuscript. Manuscripts should be prepared in WORD or LaTeX format.

Manuscript correction and revision

We kindly ask the Authors to acquaint with the reviewing procedure and publication process.

  1. After completion of the peer-review process, the corresponding author is informed about the opinions and comments of the reviewers and about any suggestions and comments of the editorial office related to the preparation of the article for publication.
  2. Within the time limit set by the managing editor, the authors should make the suggested changes and corrections. All changes should be made with the text changes tracking function enabled (available in the Review tab in MS Word) or marked in red(the text that needs to be deleted should be marked in red) and crossed out (Tools), for example: text.
  3. The authors prepare a response to the review in which they indicate which corrections have been made and which have not. If the authors have not followed the recommendations of the reviewer and the editor, a satisfactory explanation is required.

Please note: The editors reserve the right to make shortcuts and corrections that do not affect the substantive content of the work.
